Tragically, Geoff was only just starting a dream six-week trip with his wife LindaThe Gloucestershire couple had planned on visiting Singapore, Indonesia, Japan and Australia.

Shocked friends described him as a "really nice bloke".

It was revealed that Geoff had suffered heart problems in recent years and had stents inserted to widen his arteries.

In 2019, an Australian woman died on a Qantas flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne.

Two doctors were on board the flight and tried to save the woman but were sadly unsuccessful.

Aleisha Tracy, 33, died just hours into the long flight as she headed home from a holiday in the US.

Friends later said they had no idea how she died and that the traveller had no known medical conditions.
