A cheeky little boy managed to get stuck inside a tree with only his head and arm sticking out a tiny hole at the top - before a kind-hearted 'hero' rescued him.
Finley Ibrahim, four, was exploring the woods in Eastham Country Park, Merseyside, with two of his brothers when he slithered into a hole in a tree trunk and couldn't get back out.
His mum Lindsey Ibrahim was called over to the tree by Finley's older brother Riley, seven, but her bad back meant she couldn't pull her son out of the bizarre predicament he'd managed to get into.

Since her husband Terry Ibrahim, 40, was working from home around 10 minutes drive away, Lindsey was forced to seek help from a man who was at the park with his family.
After around 15 minutes of being jammed in the stump, Finley was pulled out of the top of the trunk by the dad who came over and climbed the tree 'like spiderman'.
This was the first time Lindsey had taken the kids out for anything other than a walk around the block in nine weeks, because Terry's asthma makes him more vulnerable to Covid-19.
The full-time mum was originally 'mortified' by the incident, but has since seen the funny side and shared snaps of Finley stuck in the tree on social media.

Lindsey said: 'I ran over, and I just spotted the top of Finley's face, with a hand and an arm poking out, and I was mortified at the time, thinking "Oh my word, what am I going to do?".
'Terry was going to literally down tools and come, but then I thought "He can't wait that long", and that's when I went over to the other family.
'I was embarrassed to ask [the dad] because of social distancing, so he had all the right to say no, but he found the funny side and offered straight away to help.
Lindsey said: 'I ran over, and I just spotted the top of Finley's face, with a hand and an arm poking out, and I was mortified at the time, thinking 'oh my word, what am I going to do'?' They are pictured after Finley was rescued
'He came over and the guy was like spiderman, he just sprang to the top of this tree trunk, he pulled him hard a few times and then Finley popped out the top.
'Luckily the man was there, otherwise I don't know what I was going to do. He was like a hero, but I didn't catch his name.'
The mum-of-four says Riley was excited to see his brother stuck, but eldest child Harrison Ibrahim, eight, was more concerned and was told to watch his youngest brother 16-month-old Charlie Ibrahim.

Lindsey reassured her husband of seven years that their son was okay and that's when the 'hero' came to the rescue, before Terry joined the family at the park shortly after.
Lindsey added: 'Finley can't even put his head in a jumper, and we've always told him not to put his head in railings or anything daft like that because you'll get it stuck.
'The hole at the bottom was on a slant so it was so easy for him to slide in and he was investigating it until he got to the top and probably did that just to make me laugh.'
She says Finley found his situation 'really funny' too, and she even compares him to the mischievous Fireman Sam character Norman Price.
'Earlier in the day he'd found another hole in a tree and he was looking to see if there's a badger in there, so he's a real investigator of anything.
'He'd been into dollies all his life and all of a sudden this summer he's just become I little boy, and he's really involved with being outside.'

The family visited Eastham Country Park again on Bank Holiday Monday so the boys could investigate more trees, but this time they made it back without anyone getting wedged inside one.
Lindsey said: 'The photos will certainly go in the family album, and Finley can go back to school with this really good story.'
