She burst onto the music scene in the 1980s with her hit single So Macho.

And Sinitta has set jaws dropping with her new music video for the song Paradise where she is seen lying naked in a bathtub covered in rose petals.

The singer, 56, displayed her sensational physique as she fixed the camera with a sultry stare in the tropical video, a cover of Sade's original song released in 1988.

The video begins with Sinitta on the beach in an orange top and large sunglasses as she lies in the shade.

The X Factor regular is then seen in front of a tropical background while she also sings on a hammock and goes for a bike ride.

Sinitta also shows off her quirky side as at one point she is seen on the beach, holding up a computerized miniture version of herself who dances on her palm. 

The video makes frequent use of split screen as Sinitta sings to the camera from her bed and dons a sun dress when stepping out onto a balcony.

Towards the end of the video, Sinitta treats her fans to a clip of herself in the shower, carefully protecting her modesty as she sings to the camera.

The TV star uploaded a snippet of Paradise to her Instagram and captioned it: '#LockdownLovers #Music2Make #Send2YourLover if you are apart.'

Sinitta added: 'Watch full video click my orange hat on my profile page #ILoveYouBaby'.

The video comes after Sinitta revealed she caught coronavirus nine days before Britain went into lockdown after a gig in London.

The singer added that her close friend Simon Cowell knew she had become ill because of their 'psychic' connection.

She revealed to the Sunday Mirror: 'I caught the virus after doing a club gig. Next day I felt as if I'd swallowed a packet of razor blades. I was in bed for about a week. I didn't tell Simon I was ill but it wasn't long before he got in touch.'

She continued: 'We speak quite frequently. I didn't call as I didn't want him worried – I thought, "Well, there's nothing he can do".'

However, she went on to reveal that when the music executive, 60, finally got through to the star, he knew she had been ill with the virus.

She shared: 'He told me, "We have this weird connection, I can just tell when something's wrong".'
