London-born Alexandra, 37, is the daughter of Lord and Lady Brabourne and the great granddaughter of the late Lord Mountbatten, with whom Prince Charles had an exceptionally close bond while growing up.
She and Thomas, who married in June 2016, are now proud parents to Alden Peter Theodore Mountbatten, born on March 27.
Alden is a younger brother to Inigo Norton Sebastian Mountbatten, born on December 21 in 2017.

Alexandra is the second goddaughter of Diana, Princess of Wales, and was left a legacy in the Princess's will when she died in 1997.
The Queen and Prince Philip attended her marriage to Thomas in 2016 at Romsey Abbey in Hampshire - dubbed the society wedding of the year - along with Princess Anne and Prince Charles.
The Prince of Wales walked her down the aisle because her father Norton Knatchbull, aka Lord Brabourne, was too ill to perform the necessary duties.
Their nuptials were also attended by members of foreign aristocracy including Queen Sophia of Spain, the former monarchs of Greece, King Constantine II and his wife Queen Anne-Marie, as well as Prince Hassan bin Talal of Jordan and his wife Princess Sarvath al-Hassan.

Among the family members enjoying the big day were Alexandra's mother Penelope, the carriage-racing partner of Prince Philip, brother Nicholas - who has previously battled heroin and crack addiction - and her wheelchair-bound grandmother Countess Mountbatten.
Alexandra is a forensic accountant and theology graduate of Regent's Park College Oxford, while Thomas is an entrepreneur. They met through Alexandra's work at the consultancy firm FTI Consulting.
Her father Lord Brabourne is the godson of the Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Charles was his best man, while his son Nicholas was a mentor to Prince William when the pair studied at Eton.

Lord Brabourne is also Prince William's godfather, while Prince Charles was Lord Mountbatten's godson.
Lord Mountbatten was famously killed in August, 1979, when IRA bombers blew up a small boat he was on in the sea off Mullaghmore, County Sligo. Charles was heartbroken and he read the lesson at his funeral.
The explosion also killed Lord Brabourne's 14-year-old younger brother Nicholas, his paternal grandmother, the Dowager Lady Brabourne, and a local boy who was with the family. Nicholas's twin brother Timothy, and his parents, were all injured.
