The father-of-one was charged with violent disorder after allegedly joining a 200-strong pack of thugs who hurled missiles at riot police outside an asylum seeker hotel in Aldershot, Hants, on July 31.

Eleven other adults and a 13-year-old girl have also been charged over the riot at the Potters International Hotel, where one cop was injured.

Police attended his home in Farnham, Hants, last Friday to charge him with violent disorder after he was identified from CCTV and social media footage.

The court heard the BMX and dirt bike fan was initially bailed to a date in November with his first court hearing fixed for todayInstead the company director went on holiday for seven nights to the UAE — leaving the UK on Sunday.

His solicitor Anna Renou told the court she had seen documents confirming the trip was booked in advance of his alleged offences.

District Judge Tim Pattinson slammed the accused rioter for jetting to the UAE instead of turning himself in to face the court.

He told Ms Renou: "To say these are serious matters is an understatemenT

"They have attracted national attention at the very highest level.

"My view is it's not acceptable for your client to fail to attend court."He continued: "It seems it's a flagrant disregard for a court order in effect.

"He had not made any proper arrangements to seek permission to adjourn."

It means the alleged rioter faces being arrested on the airport runway after landing back in the UK.

He is likely to be remanded to custody and forced to explain to the court why he chose to flee the country
