Trailblazers: A Rocky Mountain Road Trip was a show which starred Mel B, Emily Atack and Ruby Wax as they embarked on a trek across the Rocky Mountains.

They attempted to trek more than 800 miles, the same route that the female Victorian explorer did in 1873.

However, a source has now revealed that the show has not been renewed for a second series.

This was reportedly after the Spice Girl and the Inbetweeners actress reportedly had an argument halfway through the filming process.

A source told The Mirror: "Once on set, their personalities definitely clashed and there was one row that was witnessed by several crew members.

"There was no way back from that at the time.

"The trip was not just a jolly for Mel, Emily and Ruby – some of the challenges were quite tough."

They added: "It was a bit of a pressure cooker environment but Mel and Emily have seen each other since and things were fine between them."This was not Emily's first attempt at an endurance show as she previously

However, despite the warmer feelings after they finished shooting the show, another insider claims the pair just didn't see eye to eye.

They told the outlet said the pair just did not get on and a natural chemistry was just not struck

The source explained: "BBC bosses had hoped they could create a returning celebrity gang show in the style of Gordon Ramsay, Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix on ITV – but it just didn’t work out.

"Because Mel and Emily really did not get on, it was tough drumming up that natural chemistry. There were high hopes for the show but it won’t be coming back."
