Israel’s Ambassador To U.N. Shows Video Of Hamas Rocket Intercepted Near Al-Aqsa Mosque

Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan played a video in front of the U.N. General Assembly last week that he said showed Israel’s Iron Dome intercepting a rocket fired by Hamas terrorists toward the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Erdan’s remarks come as Israel continues its war to eradicate Hamas from inside Gaza after the terrorists murdered more than a thousand Israelis in an unprecedented attack on October 7. The terrorists also committed mass rapings and took hundreds of hostages.

“Today, Hamas proved that murdering Israelis is even more important than preserving the Islamic holy sites they claim to protect,” Erdan said.

He then held up a tablet device and played a video from the Temple Mount that captured Israel’s air sirens going off, indicating that a hostile projectile was fired at the immediate area.

“Hours ago, just hours ago, [a] Hamas rocket was fired towards the vicinity of the Temple Mount, Haram al-Sharif,” he said. “And the Iron Dome, Israel’s Iron Dome, intercepted the missile and defended Al-Aqsa Mosque from Hamas.”

“Think about this, Israel is defending Al-Aqsa Mosque from Hamas’ missiles,” he continued. “To the Arab League, to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, I ask, this is who you have chosen to defend, a group of genocidal terrorists that prefer Jihad at any cost over Islamic holy sites? Just as ISIS destroyed mosques, Hamas-ISIS is willing to blow up Al-Aqsa, and so many of you are willing to defend them. Unbelievable.”
