Moment Amazon warehouse worker becomes trapped and films his escape after he's hemmed in by robotic walls that MOVE

 An Amazon worker employed at one of the company's enormous warehouses filmed the moment he became trapped by automatic robots that line the floor of the cavernous building.

The worker, who had been retrieving a couple of items for a customer, suddenly realized his pathway back out had been blocked by huge movable yellow shelving.The worker pulled out his phone and decided to document his escape on TikTok.

User Robotman77 wrote: 'It can sometimes get crazy. Them robots like to mess around.

'The robots at work trapped me. It look me like 15 minutes to get out,' he added.  

The worker attempts to leave his position by going down various corridors lined by seemingly never-ending pathways of moveable Amazon shelving.

As one set of shelving moved, his route to freedom was blocked by another

User Robotman77 said that it took him about 15 minutes to get back to the packing floorA quick glance inside reveals products waiting to be purchased by customers 

In a truly mesmerizing moment, just as the man turns down one route, his pathway to freedom is blocked as another yellow shelf is moved directly into his way, forcing him to turn around.

Viewers of the video were surprised by the worker's encounter with one describing it as 'a true horror movie.'

Another said that it was similar to the dystopian franchise, The Maze Runner. 

It’s not clear how long it took the worker to get back out onto the main packing floor. 

But the clips give an astonishing insight into the workings of one of the enormous 110 Amazon active fulfillment centers that exist across the country, with a further 185 around the world

On his escape to freedom, he pointed out areas of interest including an area where the robots get charged

The shelves are moved along by robotic platforms which run on tracks on the floor

As the worker turned in one direction, he found his passageway to leave was blocked
