Capybaras are the world's largest rodents, measuring up to 100 long, 60cm high, and weighing between 35 and 65kg when they fully grown.

They also have webbed feet, making them excellent swimmers.

The 10-second-long video shows the capybara walking up to a pool on its owner's estate. The animal gives the plastic pool a sniff or two, before gently pushing on its hind legs.

In one stylish swoop, the animal jumps and reaches the top of pool's fencing, which is about twice its size.

With its paws' merely grazing against the fence, the capybara goes on to dive into the pool, splashing water around it.
