'Sit down Karen': Mid-air brawl erupts between maskless man and younger woman after she told him to put one on
The woman had to be restrained by flight attendants and pulled away from the man after a foul mouthed tiradeThe man then replies: 'Sit down, Karen!,' using what's become an invective for white women. 'You're a godd--n Karen, sit down!'
The woman spars back: 'Sit down, p---y!'
He spats back: 'P---y? No, you're the p---y.'
The woman is then asked by a flight attendant if she wants the police to meet her on the ground and points out that she has her mask down.
The passenger, undeterred, turns to the man again and orders: 'Mask up!'
She then orders the flight attendant to tell him to put the face covering on as the man finally argues that he's eating and drinking, therefor technically allowed to have his mask down.
He then appears to finally lose his own patience: 'You've got your mask down, b---h!'

She then asks him if he knows it's illegal to go on a plane without a mask. The man affirms.
The woman responds to this by appearing to smack the older man.
He responds: 'That's assault, you're going to jail' as another flight attendant holds the woman back.
'As soon as we get to Atlanta, you're going to jail, b---h!'
The woman then clearly spits at the man.
They then appear to try and get at one another, being held back by flight attendance, before the woman calls him a 'f---ing piece of s--t.'
The man then responds by calling her a 'piece of p---y.'
He then tries to bargain with the flight attendant by saying 'she punched me' and scratched his face and the woman again yells 'put your f---ing mask on! Tell him to put his mask on!'
'I want her the f--k outta' here!' he responds.
The woman is finally escorted away.
The bystander who posted the video to Instagram said that 'a dozen' cops were waiting for her on the ground but it's unclear if any arrests or charges stemmed from the incident.
Delta told DailyMail.com on Saturday: 'Flight 2790 from Tampa to Atlanta was met by law enforcement after an unruly customer disturbance during flight.
'Situations like these are rare for the vast majority of our customers and Delta has zero tolerance for unruly behavior at our airports and aboard our aircraft.'
DailyMail.com reached out to the Atlanta police for comment.
Twitter uses, especially conservatives, took the elderly man's side.
Brad Polumbo wrote: 'Corona Karens are a menace to public safety.'
Nick Searcy tweeted: 'This is how Democrats celebrate Christmas.'
Anna Khait had a more pointed remark: 'WOW! This is the craziest video I've seen in a while. Is she yelling at him to put a mask on while she doesn't have one on and proceeds to slap him in his face! Thanks to the media, people have gone completely insane!'
Radio host Monica Matthews said: 'The legacy of Fauci, CDC, WHO, NIH, Congress & every airline. This is what they’ve done to us. Merry Christmas.'
