Shocking moment Arizona man IMPALES his neck on kitchen knife after brandishing it at cop called out to suspicious house fire, prompting officer to tase him

An Arizona police officer tased a knife-wielding man who refused to put down his blade - only for the suspect to fall onto the ground and stab himself in the neck.

The wild incident was caught on bodycam in Glendale on November 23 after officers arrived on scene for a 'suspicious' fire, where authorities ultimately found a person 'acting odd.'

Police were quickly able to determine that the man, who has not been named, was associated with the housefire which they deemed suspicious, while an officer began talking to the individual in an effort to calm him down.

One officer can be heard telling the man, who was not named, to stay away from the fire trucks so 'they can do their job, according to the bodycam footage.

'You can't go there, it's not safe,' the officer told the man as he made a move toward the burning home.

As the man falls to the ground, the officer lunges towards him to grab him, and cut his own hand in the process.

'The knife is in his neck,' the officer can be heard saying on his bodycam video.

The officer and a fireman on scene then work to get the wounded man on to his back as the man struggled.

The video abruptly ends with the man scene in a fetal position with the knife still sticking out of his neck.
