Heart-stopping moment motorcyclist narrowly avoids being run over by a lorry as he falls off his bike after being chased by police through country lanes
This is the moment a high speed police chase ended with a motorcyclist narrowly avoiding being run over by a lorry - before officers tackle him to the ground.
The shocking chase took place through country lanes in the village of Lyne, near Chertsey, Surrey.
Footage shows the suspect being pursued by an armed response unit through the countryside. In the clip, the chase continues for several seconds before the motorcyclist crashes to the floor after narrowly avoiding the lorry.
The man then rose to his feet and tried to remount his bike only to be tackled by several officers.

The man on the motorcycle may have initially thought he was going to outrun police as he sped away
However, he failed to properly look left and right before venturing out into oncoming traffic and almost hit a lorry
He managed to swerve in time and avoid death. He had stopped for a few seconds and was frantically trying to right his bike
The high speed police chase had ended with the motorcyclist in a black jacket and helmet avoiding death by inches

He grappled with the officer in a bid to escape after the high speed chase on his motorbike
However, the officer was too strong and wrestled the man to the ground before other policemen came to help
He was arrested and taken to a police station to be questioned on why he rode off from officer, though his initial offence is unclear.
The lorry driver, who was very calm and even gave police officers the thumbs up as they led the arrested suspect away, was praised for his split second reaction.
He hit the brakes instantly to avoid a potentially deadly collision.
