Shocking video captures moment paragliders COLLIDE in mid-air and plunge into the sea in front of gasping spectators during Turkish air games festival, leaving two in hospital
Horrifying footage has emerged of two paragliders colliding in mid air and falling to the sea in the Turkish holiday resort of Oludeiz.
The terrifying incident occurred during the Turkish air games festival - an Olympic-style event for aerial activities including, parachuting, paragliding and skydiving.
The two gliders collided during an event on Sunday, as they became tangled in mid-air before plunging into the sea.
The video shows the pair hit the water at high speed much to the astonishment of the onlooking crowd.

Emergency services can be seen tending to the gliders who were retrieved from the water and carried away by stretchers - their condition is not known.
The video obtained by local broadcaster Mugla TV shows the paragliders, flying as part of international air games festival, falling into the sea after the collision.
Some 2,000 paragliders and wingsuit athletes from 60 countries attended International air games festival in Turkey's holiday resort of Oludeniz, a well-known destination for paragliding activities.
In a separate incident, Turkish coast guards rescued an Ukrainian paraglider from the sea after she lost control and landed in water.
The woman was immediately spotted by coast guard units on duty and brought to safety, Turkish coast guard said in a written statement.
It said the woman was brought to safety and rushed to hospital. She was in stable condition.
