Shocking video footage shows Kevin Hogg, a male prisoner at HMP Addiewell in West Lothian, engaged in a kiss with a warder, who is in her 20s.
Insiders revealed that the guard was unaware she was being filmed and has resigned after the hidden camera footage came to light, the Daily Record reported.
In the clip, Hogg, who was serving three years for traffic offences, is seen setting up a hidden camera on a banned mobile phone in his white-walled cell.

He is seen taking a drink of water before his cell door opens and the female guard appears.
Hogg then pulls the warder in by the arm for a kiss, which lasts a few seconds, and the pair are then seen whispering to each other afterwards.
Soon after, the female guard, who has only been a prison officer since spring, then begins to exit the cell and the two appear to talk in the doorway before she leaves.Last night, insiders revealed that the guard, who is believed to have left her job last week, felt 'intimated and pressured' into the situation.
Prison chiefs have called in police to investigate the footage, which is understood to have been filmed weeks ago.
One insider told The Sun: 'She felt under serious pressure to do it [...] She quit last week after the video started doing the rounds, her career is over.'

Meanwhile, another source claimed that she was a 'willing participant' and had not been 'coerced or frightened' as she did not press her panic button.
A source at the prison told the Daily Record: 'The video was recorded a few weeks ago.
'At first it was feared he did it to blackmail her but the fact the video is being shared suggests he's done it for bragging rights.'
Hogg, the inmate in the video, was reportedly released from prison last month.
A spokesperson for HMP Addiewell said: 'This matter has been referred to the police and the individual no longer works for the prison. We are unable to comment any further.'
