Hilarious moment barbecuing neighbor has to 'save' saleswoman from a friendly dog that chases her across front yard

 This is the moment a pastor was called upon to 'save' a terrified saleswoman from a neighbor's playful dog as he barbecued food in his front yard. 

Brad Cooper, 43, from Cartersville, Georgia, was cooking on his grill when he heard a saleswoman screaming next door. 

His CCTV footage shows him turning to look at the commotion before backing away slightly.

Mr Cooper starts laughing as he shielded the woman from the dog, who looks excited to have people to play with. 

As the dog trots up to Mr Cooper he starts wagging his tail and looks at though he licks his legs. 

Mr Cooper then turns to the saleswoman and says: 'It's okay, I think he's just a real friendly dog.

Mr Cooper posted the video on TikTok where it has been watched more than six million times. 

After it went viral he posted another video, explaining what happened. 

He said: 'I was cooking on the grill and the woman was going door to door selling solar panels. 

'When she went to the neighbor's door their dog ran out and it scared her so much she ran to me and hid behind me. 

'The neighbor's dog doesn't have a habit of running after people, he thought he was playing around with her and it just scared her.'

Mr Cooper (pictured with his wife Stephanie) said that after she had calmed down the saleswoman still tried to sell him her solar panels, which he declined. Mr Cooper said the woman then asked: 'What, do you not want me to get paid?' And he jokingly responded: 'You just got paid, I saved your life'

While explaining what happened to his followers, Mr Cooper said that the woman was so scared he feared she might get into his wife's nearby car. 

He added that after she had calmed down she still tried to sell him her solar panels, at which point he refused. 

Mr Cooper said the woman then asked: 'What, do you not want me to get paid?' And he jokingly responded: 'You just got paid, I saved your life.'
