Shocking moment five-year-old boy plunges from 12th-floor apartment window but SURVIVES after landing face-first in thick snow

    After a few seconds the boy started to move and struggled to sit up in the snow

    Footage shows the boy falling into deep snow. He is motionless for a few moment but then can be seen trying to move.

    Eventually he gets his bearings and manages to put his hands down into the snow to push himself up on to his knees.He then lies backwards into the snow and a passerby can be seen running over to him.

    They put a hat on him before other people rush over, bringing blankets and jackets to keep the little boy warm.

    Paramedics lift the boy on to a stretcher and take him to hospital in a serious condition

    Paramedics then arrive to help the boy and lift him on to a stretcher.

    According to the news site Vesti, the boy was immediately taken to the Ufa Hospital No 17. 

    Following a preliminary investigation, it is believed the boy was home alone when the incident took place. It is unclear where his parents were and no comments have been made at this time.

    The investigation is ongoing.
