She then placed the shirt in the washing machine with half a cup of baking soda in the barrel and white cleaning vinegar in the rinse cycle.

It's essential to wash the t-shirt on a hot cycle in order to remove the stain from the fabric, and Carolina said the wash can be repeated if necessary.

'This should get you out of trouble,' she wrote and revealed the ink had been removed from the t-shirt.

Baking soda and vinegar are commonly used together to kill unwanted bacteria from laundry.

Top ways to use vinegar when cleaning:

Vinegar is nontoxic and eco-friendly, making it the ultimate multipurpose cleaning solution

It's a great cleaner and disinfectant because it’s made from acetic acid

Acetic acid is a colourless organic compound that gives vinegar its sour taste and pungent smell

Vinegar can be used to clean:

    • Glass
    • Countertops
    • Shower and bathtubs
    • Toilets
    • Floors
    • Dishwashers, ovens and microwaves
