I got the call right at midnight, 2020 said “real quick before I go...” Does anyone know how to get shadow out of carpet? #Welcome2021 #fyp #disaster

Jaylynn is a makeup artist, so she had quite a bit of makeup and skincare at home — and uses it to make a living. This made the loss an especially upsetting one.

'How did 2020 end for me, you ask?' she asks in the first of two viral videos.

The video first shows a carpet floor which bears a large stain of pink, yellow, and green products. As she turns toward the sink, the stain gets worse, and is joined by powder stains of other colors like red and brown.

This is when the first detritus of the kiddie-destruction is visible: Jeffree Star's $58 Jawbreaker eyeshadow palette is on the ground, and seems to be the source of the stains on the floor.

She opens it up to show that some of the eyeshadow colors have been knocked out, while others have been smudged and scooped and partially destroyed.

But it's when she moves the camera up that one can see the true destruction: Dozens of products have been emptied and piled into the sink on top of one another.Job supplies: Jaylynn is a makeup artist, so she had quite a bit of makeup and skincare at home — and uses it to make a living

The sink is a mess of pigments and powders, the bottles left behind seemingly salvageable.

What's more, the sink and counter are smeared and caked with makeup that will take some time to clean.

Jaylynn pans to a storage container, show that at least some of the makeup looks untouched — but even that is covered in the remnants of what has been destroyed.

The mother-of-two can be heard sobbing throughout the video as she looks at the ruined makeup.

'This is what I get for being nice mommy. I’m a makeup artist so yeah I was a little distraught see my hard earned money in the sink,' she captioned the video.

In a follow-up video, she explains: 'Was the night of New Year's Even and my kids were effen busy. All of my makeup and skincare in the sink, destroyed.

'This is so heartbreaking. My heart is broken right now.

'Spare the rod, spoil the child... now I understand what they meant,' she adds.

She also films herself beginning to clean it up, throwing everything in the sink into a garbage bag.

After she removes the bottles at the top, a pile of smaller containers and tubes is visible underneath, worked into the Jackson Pollock-esque scene of destruction.

Jaylynn tosses out unused false lashes, compacts, and tubes. She and someone helping her clean pull up entire handfuls of products, all stuck together with poured-out lotions and potions.

Once most of the bottles and containers are gone, she uses cardboard to scoop up some of the gloppy mess of mixed makeup left behind, scraping a scoopful of brown sludge into the garbage.

While rinsing off an ELF bottle, she laments that she didn't even get to use it yet, noting that it's now a mess and half-empty.

Finally, she begins wiping down the filthy sink, a project that likely took hours.

Commenters have been horrified by the mess and destruction — and the fact that the kids were left unsupervised long enough to get that much done.

'I’m trying figure out where they would send me that night..... jail or a psych ward,' wrote one.

'This is birth control honestly,' wrote another.

'Them kids still breathing?' asked a third.

Quite a few have criticized Jaylynn's parenting, accusing her of not watching her children or disciplining them enough.

'It’s the fact that she not making them clean it up for me,' wrote one.

'You mean to tell me those kids were left alone that long to do that? That’s at least 2 hours worth of playing,' said another.

One woman even made an entire video saying Jaylynn doesn't know how to control her kids.

'Kids treat you how they are treated. My kids are never, ever, ever, ever gonna act out like that,' she said.

To her critics, though, Jaylynn shared a follow-up video saying to 'chill,' noting that they don't know anything about her life beyond what she shares on TikTok.

'At this point, you're being mad disrespectful,' she said.
