A photographer has captured the last agonising moments of a baby baboon's life after it was caught in the jaws of a lioness. 

Photographer Stew Nolan's images show the infant monkey appearing to beg the 300-pound lioness to spare it. 

Instead, the predator toys with the tiny monkey for several minutes before killing it at South Africa's Kruger National Park.
