Devastated' Jessica Mulroney has been desperately reaching out to best friend Meghan Markle in a bid to patch up their friendship – but to no avail, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Sources said the Canadian socialite, 40, has been met with silence from the Duchess of Sussex, 38, and has been warned that she is unlikely to be readmitted to her inner circle.
An insider said: 'Jessica has been calling Meghan non-stop and also calling up mutual friends to try and patch up their friendship.
'She's devastated Meghan has turned her back on her at a time when she needs her most. But their friends have told her not to expect to hear back from Meghan because when she cuts someone off, she's done for good – just like with her family.'

The former best friends fell out after mother-of-three Mulroney became embroiled in a social media row with Black influencer Sasha Exeter last month.
Exeter claimed Mulroney had sent her a string of abusive messages and threatened to ruin her career after taking offense over one of Exeter's posts in which she called on people with large social media followings to speak out about Black Lives Matter.

The blogger also said Mulroney was guilty of using her white privilege and wealth to try and intimidate her.
The spat led to the cancellation of Mulroney's wedding themed reality TV show I Do Redo, as well as the loss of her Good Morning America fashion slot.
Mulroney's lucrative partnership with Canadian department store Hudson Bay was also canceled and her husband Ben, 44, was forced to step back from hosting CTV entertainment show etalk.

A DailyMail.com insider said the Duchess has become increasingly hard to get hold of, amid fears that her old circle in LA can't be trusted not to speak to the media about her.
The source said: 'Meghan has cut off most of her old friends in LA. They were so excited to see her when she came back home and were expecting to hear from her.
'But she hasn't reached out to anyone. Friends have tried to connect with her through Doria but she doesn't answer her phone and the old numbers they have for Meghan don't work anymore.
'Lots of people are now feeling sad they've been cut off by her and are having to accept that they'll never hear from her again.'
