Boris Johnson divorce granted after £4m sweetener - paving way for PM to marry Carrie

Marina Wheeler applied for a decree absolute in February and it has now been reported that it was granted before Carrie gave birth to their child last week

Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s second divorce has now been granted - leaving him free to plan his third wedding with fiancee Carrie Symonds following the birth of their first child together last week.
Marina Wheeler applied for a decree absolute in February and the Mirror reports it was granted before Carrie gave birth to their child last week.
Ms Wheeler, a leading barrister, launched divorce proceedings last year.
On February 18, she obtained permission from the Central Family Court in London to apply for a decree absolute.
It is reported that the paperwork was filed “immediately” and the decree was issued.
It is believed they could each end up with £4million from the divorce settlement.
