Matt Lucas admits he's keen to 'get fitter' after putting on 'a little bit of weight' during the UK's lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis

He has been spending as much time indoors during the UK's lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis.
And Matt Lucas admitted he was keen to 'get fitter' during his time in quarantine, after feeling he had 'put on a little bit of weight'.
The Little Britain star, 46, made the remark during an appearance on Friday's edition of Lorraine, where he chatted about bringing the classic comedy show back after he and David Walliams reunited for BBC's Big Night In.

Of how he'd like to exercise more while in lockdown, he said: 'The one thing I need to do is get fitter, I have put on a little bit of weight, that’s my next challenge to do a bit more exercise.
'I might have to make a game of it when I go out an exercise to stay out of people's way. I don’t have a garden so I have to find a way to do that.'
Matt then said he was going to look into doing Joe Wicks' regular workouts to kick start his healthier lifestyle.

Going on to discuss his Little Britain reunion with David on Thursday night, Matt said he didn't see why the pair couldn't bring back the hit show.
'It would be fun we've both got quite a lot on but we're definitely up for doing more, a tour would be fun, or a podcast even, or even a new show who knows,' Matt said.
Matt, who is set to co-host the Great British Bake Off when it returns, was also surprised with a special message from Noel Fielding who said he couldn't wait until they could film the show together.

The Mighty Boosh star said: 'I’ve been thinking about you a lot, I haven’t had a dream about you in a while, but I can’t wait to get on your shoulders and set up the tent.'
Responding in delight, Matt added: 'Aww how sweet. He did say it was a dream, he said how about "Matt presenting".
'I have to be as good as his dream, he’s such a lovely man and I have to do well by him. it’s such a fun show.'
