JD Vance takes RNC stage for walkthrough
One day ahead of his speech at the Republican National Convention, JD Vance — Donald Trump’s official running mate — did a walkthrough on the stage inside Fiserv Forum.
The Ohio senator approached the podium in a suit and gold tie as photographers, reporters and cameras flanked behind the glass barrier.
One reporter shouted out, “Senator, how are you feeling?” But Vance kept his attention with those on stage.
Close ally and advocate, Donald Trump Jr., who will be introducing Vance came out and gave him a hug. They smiled and laughed with each other, exchanging words. Vance also hugged Trump Jr.’s fiancé, Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Vance didn’t reply when a UK reporter shouted out another question.
Secret Service agents were on the stage, protecting the new vice presidential nominee, as well.
