On the show, celebs face either their food heaven or food hell which is chosen by the public.

Unfortunately for Mel, she received what she described as her hell: a stodgy carbonara.

The singer was seen making vomiting noises in the background as Matt described the dish.

He said: "I added enough pasta water to kind of make a creamy sauce, with no cream."

He said: "I added enough pasta water to kind of make a creamy sauce, with no cream."Mel was also unimpressed by the TV chef's salad which he served alongside the pasta.

She asked: "You see that has that tingy ugh thing, what's it called that thing that has that really bitter taste?"

"Delicious," Matt asked as he explained: "Oh that's fennel and chicory."

Mel quickly snapped back: "Horrible. I just want some nice iceberg lettuce, keep it simple, with salad cream."She then reluctantly tucked into her carbonara as she asked: "Is there mushrooms in this? Shouldn't there be mushrooms in a carbonara?'

Matt explained: "Only in a British carbonara," before she replied: "Well that's where we are, we are in Britain."

Mel then complained about the fat still being on the bacon as she held some of the meat on her fork.Looking less than impressed with her food she spat it out and swapped with another guest.

"Please cook me the beef now after we're finished," she pleaded.

The mum-of-three's appearance was a hit with viewers, with many taking to X to share their reactions.

One user wrote: "Mel B was absolutely brilliant on #SaturdayKitchen."

A second added: "It is good to see classic, powerful, beautiful Mel B on Saturday kitchen. I will always be a Scary Stan."

A third penned: "I F***** LOVE MEL B! BRUTALLY HONEST AND UNSCRIPTED! YASSSSSSS! Bring her back!!!!"
