Princess Kate's uncle had no idea
Princess Kate's uncle Gary Goldsmith has admitted that he had no idea about his niece's cancer struggle when he entered Celebrity Big Brother.
And he has now released a statement after an interview he did was released on the same day as the release of Kate's cancer announcement.
In the interview, the 58-year-old former businessman discussed the Princess of Wales's disappearance from the public eye.
Taking to his X account, formerly known as twitter, he said: "As many will have seen, I am featured in Saturday's 'Times Magazine'.
"This interview and shoot was done over a week ago and went to print before I was aware of the sad news regarding my niece Kate.
"My thoughts and prayers are with Kate and the wider family at this difficult time and deeply upset at the timing of this article.
"I hope this draws a line over the continued speculation and horrible conspiracies."
He finished off by asking the public to give Kate, William and their three children the time they need, which would "show some love back".
