Kate Beckinsale’s ‘No Context Hospital’ Photos Sound Alarm Bells From Fans

Kate Beckinsale sounded alarm bells with her fans after she posted several teary-eyed “no context hospital” photos in a post on social media that honored her mom Judy Loe.

In a rather lengthy Instagram post, the 50-year-old actress celebrated Loe’s birthday and the U.K.’s Mother’s Day while sharing pictures of her in a hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown and a giant bow on her head.

Happy birthday and UK Mother’s Day this last week to my incredible mother,” Beckinsale’s post read. “Thank you to those that love us and support us when it’s s*** and try to make sure there are some bits that aren’t.”

“And for looking after our dogs when we can’t, and [leading] us to remember happy things when we can’t,” she added. “And turn up when we are sick and sit with us. … And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love.”

“Thank you for loving us, those who do, and for the amazing, kindest Nick, and especially for my mother’s capacity for joy,” the actress’ post continued. “It is so inspiring and beautiful. Happy everything mama. Your fight for joy despite also welcoming tears is the experience of watching a warrior up close. I love you.”

Shortly after the “Click” star’s post surfaced, fans took to social media and expressed their concern about why Beckinsale was in the hospital, TooFab noted.

“I pray for your recovery, whatever it is you may be going through,” one person wrote.

Another added, “No context hospital pics don’t sit well with me.”

While a third echoed a similar sentiment, “Your praying warriors are always with you and your family! Get better soon!!”

It is unclear whether the hospital pictures were new or old. The last known health scare that Beckinsale dealt with personally was in 2019 when she shared with followers that she suffered a ruptured ovarian cyst, People magazine noted.

“Turns out a ruptured ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry. So thankful to everyone who looked after me,” she captioned her post at the time.

The “Serendipity” star’s post comes as her family has been dealing with the loss of her step father, British TV director Roy Battersby. He died in January of a “massive stroke” while battling cancer, Page Six noted. He was 87.

At the time, Beckinsale shared a video of her step father and wrote on social media, “I have no words yet . Thank you [katebeckinsale_slovakia2] for making this beautiful thing. I fought for you with everything I had. Oh Roy I am so sorry I lost.”
