Rand Paul Goes Full Bore Against Nikki Haley: No ‘Libertarian Or Conservative’ Should Vote For Her

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) launched a campaign against Republican presidential candidate and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley on Friday, declaring that she “would be wrong for our country.”

Paul made the announcement after he teased out on Thursday that he was going to potentially endorse one of the remaining Republican presidential candidates.

Instead, Paul said that he liked the current frontrunner, former President Donald Trump, and the “fiscal conservatism” of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. He also said that he liked Vivek Ramaswamy’s voice, and he even liked some of things that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was saying.

The senator unveiled a new website, NeverNikki.net, where he listed multiple reasons why he believes that Republicans, conservatives, and libertarians should oppose her.

In an interview with Politico, Paul said that he felt the need to expose people “fully” to her record before she has the opportunity to “gain any traction” once voting starts.

Paul said that he was open to hitting the trail to campaign against her and he was willing to spend money to run political ads against her.

“I’m absolutely dead certain Nikki Haley would be wrong for our country,” Paul said in the interview. “And I do have some voice. I want to make sure my voice is heard.”

On his website, Paul listed off numerous reasons for why he opposes Haley, including her “support” of “Biden and McConnell and the forever-war crowd on funding for the war in Ukraine,” her having “personally received millions of dollars from the arms merchants who benefit from the war, a conflict of interest that undergirds her eagerness for foreign military intervention,” and her remark “that all internet posters should be registered and verified,” among other issues
