France is ready to help in Morocco when authorities "deem it useful," Macron says

France is ready to help earthquake-hit Morocco whenever the authorities there “deem it useful,” President Emmanuel Macron said from the G20 in Delhi on Sunday.
His comments come as rescuers in Morocco are trying to help people in remote villages near the quake's epicenter.
“We have mobilized all our technical security teams to be able to intervene when the Moroccan authorities deem it useful,” Macron said at a news conference at the end of the summit, adding talks were “ongoing between ministers and technicians.”
Macron said he sent a message to King Mohammed VI after Morocco “suffered a tragedy that affects us all.”
“We have mobilized the World Bank, the IMF, the European Union and the African Union to — together with France — mark a strong commitment of support to Morocco, to the Moroccan people, for reconstruction and financial aid in this context,” Macron added.
