Turf war! Moment prankster fires hundreds of confetti pieces over neighbour's immaculate artificial lawn just as he finishes VACUUMING it

 This is the hilarious moment a prankster wound up his neighbour by firing a confetti cannon over his immaculate artificial lawn moments after he finished vacuuming it.

Footage filmed in Wigan, Greater Manchester shows Gareth Jones, 39, tidying his garden after having friends including neighbour Adrian Heaton, 40, round for drinks the night before. In the video, Mr Heaton peers over his tall wooden fence as he watches unsuspecting Mr Jones hoover up pieces of debris.

When it appears that Mr Jones has finished the clear-up, construction director Mr Heaton is seen letting off a confetti cannon over the fence.

Mr Jones, who is a funeral director, then throws his hoover down in a rage and storms back into his house before the clip ends.

But he soon saw the funny side after he 'stormed off in a huff.'  

The video was shared by Mr Heaton on TikTok on Sunday 27 March and captioned: 'Everybody loves good neighbours. Keep on cleaning brother.' 

It has since racked up more than 3.5 million views and 179,000 likes.

Thousands of viewers left comments on the clip. One said: ' That was so unkind, do it again. I think the garden is beautiful.'

Speaking today, Mr Heaton said:  'We all moved in just over a year ago and forged a bit of a friendship.

'On Friday we had some drinks together and on Saturday Gareth was cleaning up the aftermath.

'When we saw him out the window we thought it was a great idea to play a prank on him.

'He was furious at first but by the time he got to the house he turned around and started laughing and said he would have done exactly the same thing.

'It took him and his wife around an hour to pick them up individually.'
