That's a wrap! Christmas enthusiast covers his ENTIRE sitting room and kitchen in festive paper - even down to the kettle

 A man covered two rooms entirely in wrapping paper after deciding to have a unique Christmas. 

Tom Hooker, 38, challenged himself to wrap his entire living room and kitchen in wrapping paper to make it the ultimate festive area.

The content creator from Brighton, wanted to spruce up his home and make it feel more festive.

While many people would hang up some festive decorations, Tom went the extra mile and wrapped the whole living room and kitchen in Christmas wrapping.

Tom was inspired after wanting to create something more festive than just the usual decorations

Even the kitchen cabinets got the Christmas wrapping treatment—no object was exempt from being wrapped

With £20 worth of wrapping paper, Tom covered the living area and even extended the wrapping to his furniture and appliances.

Unfortunately Tom couldn't leave his home wrapped up for too long because the patterned paper started to give him a headache after a while, and it proved a nuisance when getting to his appliances.Tom said: 'I'd seen wrapping paper on sale in the shop so I bought £20 worth and went to town on the living room.'

Not one to do a half-hearted job, the cheery Christmas enthusiast went even as far as the smallest items in the room.

The Brighton local used scissors and cellotape to stick down his project to make sure it wasn't a permanent piece

Tom and his dog enjoyed tearing up the wrapped sofa together after the project was finished and it was time to take it down

The bold look left no surface untouched as the content creator strived for the most festive look he had ever created

Tom worked meticulously at getting each individual stripe to line up over each surface in his kitchen

The bins, kettle and the fridge were rendered unusable while Tom's home was covered in wrapping paper

'It was only supposed to be the walls and kitchen units, but then it escalated to the couch, bins, television and even kettle.'

Despite living his creation, Tom had to eventually get rid of the paper decorations so he could properly use his rooms. 

'I would have loved to have left it up longer, but I'd stupidly wrapped my fridge, microwave, television and kettle, so sadly it had to go!'
