It'll buff out! Police stop man driving Porsche on the M25 with the rear end of his car wrecked after an earlier collision

A man who wrecked the front end of his Porsche following an earlier collision was stopped by police after he continued driving for miles on the M25.

The Roads Unit for Surrey Police pulled over the two-seater soft top convertible on the M25 near Cobham in Kent after the driver had previously crashed on the motorway earlier today.

An image was posted by officers on Twitter of the damaged Porsche Boxster S, which retails for over £58,000 when purchased new, and appears to show part of the rear of the vehicle ripped off and stuck in the boot.

The driver gave a positive alcohol breath test but was found to be under the prescribed limit.

He told officers he had crashed the car on the M25 in Kent and thought it would be 'ok to continue the journey' despite the car's 'dangerous' condition.

Surrey police banned the car from the road and said the man had to 'seek alternative travel arrangements'.

The Roads Policing Unit tweeted: 'We stopped this vehicle seen driving on the #M25 near Cobham.

'The driver told officers he had crashed the car on the M25 in Kent and thought it would be OK to continue the journey in this condition.

'The driver gave a positive breath test but was under the prescribed limit.

'The vehicle has been prohibited from use on the road and the driver reported for driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition. The driver will now seek alternative travel arrangements.'
