I’m dog tired! Golden retriever Hudson plays ‘Lazy Fetch’ lying on the floor with his owner in adorable footage

 This is the adorable moment a relaxed Golden Retriever played a game of 'lazy fetch' with his owner.

Three-and-a-half-year-old Hudson loves nothing more than a gentle game of 'catch' with owners Matt and Allissa Mason - lying on the floor and passing the ball back and forth.

Hudson seemed lethargic after surgery in 2019 so Allissa lay on the floor with him and played their first game of what they now call 'Lazy Fetch'.

Allissa said: 'We've learned to cherish every moment with Hudson, whether it's a funny viral moment or an average walk down the street' 

But Hudson loved this and now likes to play 'lazy fetch' whenever he is tired.

Allissa, 34, who works in Education and resides in New York City said: 'We first filmed Hudson playing lazy fetch while laying on the floor after he had surgery and was groggy from the meds.

'Since he couldn't play fetch outside, we decided to play fetch inside. All he wanted to do was lay on the floor and push the ball.

'But Hudson now loves lazy fetch when he's tired. He lets us push the ball to him and he nudges it with his nose or bats it with his paws back to us.

'It's always so fun playing with Hudson. He immediately puts a smile on our faces, no matter what we're doing.

'We've learned to cherish every moment with Hudson, whether it's a funny viral moment or an average walk down the street.

'He makes our day better by being around and our goal is to give him the best life that we can!'
