Florida bride is branded 'tacky' and 'shameful' after twerking and gyrating on her new husband's lap in a THONG during wild wedding performance

A Florida bride has ensured that neither her groom nor the internet will ever forget her wedding day performance after donning a completely backless dress with a thong to give her new husband a sexy lap dance.

The woman, who is known only as Rochelle, enthusiastically twerked and grinded on her man during a choreographed routine that she performed along with her bridesmaids at the reception.

A wedding guest with the handle @_1karin shared a video of the tongue-wagging moment on her Instagram Stories over the weekend, the New York Post reported, and it ended up going viral on Twitter

'IS THAT THE BRIDE?!?!?' @ImKindaFunny901 tweeted along with the clip, which has been viewed more than 2.8 million times.

The footage of the performance shows attendees gawking and pulling out their cellphones to record Rochelle as she dances to Beyoncé's 'Dance for You' in her sparkly apron-style dress.

She cheekily pushes a boy out of her way with her hand as she seductively walks in a circle around her husband, who is seated on the dancer floor and smiling from ear to ear.

The routine gets even spicier when she bends over and shakes her bare booty in his face before sitting on top of him. While her bridesmaids are dancing in front of them, she is sensually gyrating in his lap.

The video then cuts to Rochelle and her bridesmaids doing the viral 'Twerkulator' dance set to the City Girls' hit song of the same name.

The bride is front and center during the routine, and she makes sure all eyes are on her when she gets on all fours and starts twerking her heart out.

The couple's friends and family seemed to love the wild performance, but the reaction on Twitter was mixed, with critics saying they thought it was 'tacky' and 'shameful.'

'A lap dance in lingerie.. at a wedding.. in front of all of those people??? Chileeee,' one person tweeted.

'Nah doing a lap dance routine for your husband wearing next to nothing in front of his closest friends and both your families is beyond ghetto lmaooo that’s not even the right word to define it yet I can’t even quantify how wildly tacky this is,' someone else wrote.

'Everything here is tacky. The twerking bridesmaids, the barefoot bride, showing [her] whole a** in front of your entire family, just one big ghetto mess,' another insisted.

A number of people were also concerned that there were children at the event who shouldn't have been subjected to the sexy dance.

However, others felt the critics were being too judgmental, noting that the bride should be able to do whatever she wants on her big day.

'It's sad how you can't even have fun at your own wedding reception without being judged,' one Twitter user shared. 'She's dancing for her man. Modesty is a term that was created by a man who was insecure about showing off his mate. There's no such thing as it.'

'When did a wedding become about the happiness or approval of those in attendance?' another asked. 'If the bride and groom cool with it that’s all that matters. You don’t like it, take yo a** home.'

'If she wanna twerk at her wedding she can do that. You don’t wanna twerk at your wedding then don’t,' someone else wrote. 'But her wedding ain’t your wedding so…'
