I can do HAMstands! Piglet born with two legs learns to walk on its front limbs

A piglet born with just two legs has learned to walk on its front limbs.

Video, filmed in Maoming, Guangdong, southern China, shows the four-month-old female pig somehow balancing and walking on its two front legs.

Shared on October 26, the clip shows the pink and black hairless pig pottering around a farm yard on its front trotters alongside a chicken. The video, filmed in Maoming, Guangdong, southern China, shows a 4-month-old female pig managing to balance and walk around freely with its two front legs

According to local media reports, the farmer, named Xu, initially customised a wheelchair for his pig.

But the unnamed swine did not get used to it and instead kept persisting with walking on its two legs.

The little piglet can be seen with its body at a diagonal angle and its curly tail pointing in the air as it steadies itself to walk around the pen.

This is not the first time a two-legged pig has caught people's attention. In 2010, a 10-month-old pig became an unlikely celebrity in China's Henan Province.

Known by villagers as Zhu Jianqiang, which translates to 'Strong-willed pig', the animal took only 30 days to master the art of walking upside down.

Its owner, Wang Xihai, decided to train the piglet by holding up its tail.

A circus even offered a high price for the pig, but he refused to sell.

He said: 'My wife asked me to dump it but I refused as it's a life. I thought I should give it a chance and unexpectedly it survived healthily.'
