Huey Haha dead at 22: Fans in shock at sudden death of TikTok star whose skits included jokes about guns and weed and who leaves behind two-year-old daughter Princess Ha

Popular TikTok star and rising comedian Huey Haha died on Monday at the age of 22, a friend revealed on his Instagram page.   

The comedian, whose real name was Huey Ha, was a social media celebrity whose sketches included jokes about guns, weed and cancel culture. He had racked up more than 4.5 million views on TikTok and his YouTube page had nearly 450,000 Youtube subscribers.

The announcement of his death was posted on his  Instagram page on Wednesday and a GoFundMe page was organized by his friend Coby Jdn. 

His cause of death was not revealed and his TikTok page has since been shut down.

The comic, from Stockton, California, leaves behind a two-year-old daughter Princess Ha whom he shared with his former girlfriend Heather Saizon.

'Rest in peace to Huey Ha,' the post had read. 'Huey Ha passed away October 25, 2021.

'He loved and appreciated every single one of his supporters.

'This is the official gofundme all proceeds will go towards funeral costs and his daughter.'

The page has currently raised $32,880 as of Thursday morning, exceeding its $15,000 goal. 

'Used to saying RIP but this hurt the most we always hated comedy cuz all people see is laughs, not what we hadda do or go through,' Haha's friend Jdn posted on Instagram. 

'They already took the fun out the comedy but now its not gon be the same without you. We love you brother see you in the future.'

Haha had been praised by both his friends and fans for his tribute to comedy and representation of the Asian American community.

He posted his content on social media platforms such as TikTok, which has been taken down, and on YouTube.

Over the course of two years, he had amassed more than 100 million combined views on YouTube and 4.5 million on his TikTok page for his short situational comedy skits. 

Besides comedic content, Haha regularly posted pictures with his girlfriend Heather, mother, and his daughter Princess Ha. 

He also spoke about loving being a father, which was featured on Jdn's tribute post.

'It's just great dude, like, I just love it so much,' Haha had said.

'I love it when I come home and then my daughter, she just comes running to the door and she just screams like 'ahhhh!' and then she runs around in a circle and she comes back and she hugs me.

'It's like the best feeling, bro. You don't really understand, like, fatherhood, until you're in that. It's really true.'

Social media users, which included a couple of celebrities, paid tribute to the late Haha in the comments of the Instagram tribute. 

Celebrities such as Hamilton Daveed Diggs had commented saying 'So sorry bro' and California-based rapper Mozzy even announced he wanted to contribute funds for Haha's funeral.         

Other fans and users also had paid tribute on Haha's Instagram page.

'Damn bro. Wish I could've got back to ya, yo videos gone live on #GOAT,' @babyyungin commented.

'Omg Huey I am so, so sad you’re gone. So grateful we got to meet and film together before you passed. Your legacy will live on,' @mitchellnikole commented.
