  • Players being urged to give National Lottery a call if they have winning numbers A UK lottery ticketholder has won a share of £54 million in the EuroMillions jackpot, the National Lottery has announced.

    Camelot has said there were three winners in Tuesday's draw, with the UK ticket holder bagging £18,204,387.20. 

    One UK millionaire was also created in The Millionaire Maker Selection with the code JTRN69707.

    Camelot's Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at The National Lottery, said: 'It's great news for one UK winner who has scooped a share of the fantastic £54 million EuroMillions jackpot in tonight's draw.

    'Players are urged to check their tickets, and give us a call if they think they might be one of tonight's lucky winners.

    'National Lottery players make a huge difference to National Lottery Good Causes across the country raising, on average, around £36m every week.

    'Thanks to National Lottery players, over £1.2bn has been distributed to date across the UK to help tackle the impact of coronavirus.'

    The other jackpot winners were from France and Belgium.

    No-one bagged the jackpot in the EuroMillions HotPicks by matching five numbers.

    The winning Thunderball numbers were: 33, 03, 18, 37, 07 and the Thunderball number was 14.

    No-one matched all five numbers and the bonus ball to bag the £500,000 jackpot.

    Friday's jackpot is an estimated £14m, Camelot said.

    In April a UK ticket holder won a £122m EuroMillions jackpot - the fifth biggest ever National Lottery win. 

    The win was big enough to catapult the player immediately into the top 1,000 on the Sunday Times rich list 2020. 

    Britain's biggest lottery win was in October 2019, when a lucky player scooped a massive £170million jackpot.

    The following year, Adrian and Gillian Bayford, from Suffolk, won a staggering £148million.

    The fourth highest UK winner took home £123million in 2019. They remained anonymous.
