Emergency stop! Hair-raising moment small child on a scooter shoots out in front of car
This is the moment a quick-thinking driver slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting a small child who suddenly scooted in front of his car.
Hassan Feissali's dashcam captured the hair-raising near-miss as he drove through North London on August 31.
Footage shows Mr Feissali, 41, driving his Honda slowly through through residential streets before he comes to what appears to be a residents' carpark.

As he turns into the carpark a small child wearing a blue hoodie and grey tracksuit bottoms suddenly scooters into view.
Mr Feissali slams on his brakes and the child jumps off his scooter in fright before looking up at the car.
The child then immediately glides back the way he came on his scooter as though nothing happened.
Mr Feissali carries on driving and an adult, who may have been watching the child, can be seen slightly further away.

Mr Feissali, a digital archivist, said: 'I was driving very slowly so I managed to stop. The boy was unharmed.'
He added that the boy's mother was standing in the area but didn't seem particularly bothered by the incident.
Mr Feissali said: 'The mother was standing nearby and when I looked at her she was completely indifferent.
'Nothing like this has happened to me before, it was truly shocking.'
He said he had been on his way to pick up a friend from an airport when the incident occurred.
