Doggone! Moment eager pooch sends gender reveal balloon flying up into the sky without popping it
A Canadian couple had to make a second attempt at a gender reveal stunt after their dog's attempt pop a balloon went hilariously wrong.
Dental hygienist Marie del Rosario, 33, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and her partner Jasa Grant, 34, had invited friends and family to their home to announce the sex of their baby.
The couple's French bulldog-mixed Doobie was due to play a key role, popping a helium-filled black balloon to reveal either pink or blue pieces of paper.

The couple were surrounded by dozens of pink and blue balloons but the vital information was contained within a black helium balloon
But footage shows how Doobie failed at his one job. The eager dog did succeed in leaping up at the balloon being held by Marie and Jasa.
However, instead of nipping the balloon, Doobie headbutted it and knocked it out of the piece of string.
The gas-filled balloon then soared up into the sky and out of the yard, leaving the guests disappointed.
Fortunately, instead of travelling for dozens of miles, the balloon landed in a nearby park - enabling the couple to repeat the attempted reveal.
This time, the somewhat deflated balloon was burst by Doobie without any drama, showering the dog in pieces of pink shredded paper.
After Doobie headbutted the balloon, the piece of string was dislodged, allowing the balloon to escape
The gas-filled balloon then soared up into the sky and out of the yard, leaving the guests disappointed
Luckily the balloon was rapidly losing helium and came to rest in a nearby park
On the second attempt, the somewhat deflated balloon was burst by Doobie without any drama, showering the dog in pieces of pink shredded paper.
