 Being accident-prone can be a real pain, as these extremely clumsy people have proved.

These self-confessed 'klutzes' from across the globe have taken to US-based anonymous sharing app Whisper to share some of their most embarrassing falls - including one who sprained their ankle after walking backwards into a lamppost. 

Among the other revelations includes a clumsy person who thought she'd killed her pet bunny after falling on it while cleaning out its cage.

Elsewhere, a pupil told how he became known as a 'cartoon character' among his peers and teachers after comically slipping on a grape in the corridor.
