Katie Price was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning with an eye injury following a 'serious' altercation.
Police were called after the incident occurred at a property in Essex, who called for paramedics.
Essex Police confirmed to MailOnline that a man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently being held in custody.

In a statement, Essex police said: 'We were called by colleagues in the ambulance service to reports of an assault in Little Canfield, shortly after 1.30am this morning, Monday 23 August.'We arrived and found a woman had sustained a facial injury which required hospital treatment.
'A 32-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody.'
In a further statement, Essex police added: 'Our investigations are continuing at the scene today.'

A source close to Katie, 43, told MailOnline: 'Katie is ok, but it's quite a serious altercation that's happened. She is currently working with the police.'
An insider also told The Sun: 'Katie is, understandably, utterly devastated.'
Katie last posted on social media on Sunday when she shared an image taken by her fiancé Carl Woods, 32, that showed the pair posing with her youngest children Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven.
The image was captioned: 'Family time' with a heart.

Katie also revealed the family had spent the weekend staying in Carl's home as she shared a picture of Bunny cradling their pet dog, with the caption: 'Excuse the mess we are doing Carl’s house up but how cute does bunny look with buddy ❤️'.
The family time came moments before the couple took to Instagram to hit back at trolls who accused Carl of using Katie for her money.
After Carl shared the family snap, one user commented: 'Thought you guys broke up?', to which Carl responded, 'never believe what you read mate'.

As another user then penned: 'he only wants her muni wen shes clearly broke shes got no muni [sic], Carl fired back, 'Andy knows I got enough doe. So don’t worry about me. Guys known me for 20years', he added, 'mate. This world full of mugs. You know me mate.'
Katie then jumped in to defend her partner, writing: ' what you on about? @carljwoods pays and has his own money you d**k'.
Their impassioned posts came three days after Carl suggested he didn't support Katie's decision to go under the knife last month for full-body liposuction, a Brazilian bum lift and her fourth face lift in Turkey.

The former Love Island star wrote alongside a picture of himself by Katie's hospital bed: 'Support your women, Even when you don't support her situation!'
Katie and Carl began dating in June 2020 and announced their engagement in April , just six weeks after Katie's divorce from her third husband Kieran Hayler was finalised.
Speaking to OK! magazine about their engagement, Katie said: 'It's refreshing to be with a man that if I decided I never wanted to work again, he'd look after me, I just love him.
'We'd spoken about it a lot, so I knew he was going to, I just didn't know when. It was amazing. Carl asked my mum and dad for permission - and Junior. With Carl, Mum's already told him not to mess me around and so far he's passed the t****r test.'Katie added Carl isn't interested in her fame 'or anything to do with' her alter-ego Jordan and has his own money.
The couple have also revealed their desire to have children together, with Katie admitting she is looking into IVF to have her sixth child.
The former glamour model is mum to son Harvey, 18, with her footballer ex Dwight Yorke, and co-parents her children Junior, 15, Princess, 13, with ex-husband Peter Andre.

Speaking to The Sun, Katie previously admitted she and Carl had turned to doctors for help to conceive.
She said: 'We’re going to call the baby Miracle. I’m doing this for my mum. She told me to have IVF so she can see us have kids. It will break my heart if she can’t.'
Katie added that she initially thought it would be "easy" to get pregnant again and she and Carl have never used contraception because they "knew they'd be together forever".
She said: 'It has not happened naturally, unfortunately. I thought it would be easy as I’ve never had to plan it before. It’s always just happened.'
