Passers-by were amazed at seeing Mark Ward, 33, lose the wheel on his Saab - and then carry on rolling with three wheels on his wagon.
Police found Ward at the wheel of his three-wheeled silver Saab with the other wheel left at the scene of the crash.Ward, of Bangor, North Wales was stopped by the force's Intercept Team on the main A55 at Llanfairfechan.

He admitted dangerous driving and drink-diving at Llandudno magistrates Court.
He was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months and disqualified from driving for 30 months.
PC Daniel Edwards said: 'Ward's driving was reckless and completely irresponsible, and it is only by pure luck that nobody was seriously injured or even killed.
