Gwen Sanchez, who lives in Texas, captured footage of the driver coming to her rescue on doorbell camera.
She had ordered some products from Amazon and when checking out decided to try her luck with putting in an 'additional request'. She wrote: 'There is a huge spider on my front porch who is refusing to leave and I’m too scared to go out my front door.'If you could kill the spider for me that would be amazing. Thank you!'

To Ms Sanchez's delight when the delivery driver arrived he could be seen on her doorbell camera first safely delivering her package before tackling the spider
It falls off the wall near her front door but the driver doesn't stop there, he then makes sure the job is done by hitting it again with his shoe

She shared the footage on TikTok where it went viral, and several appreciative viewers remarked: 'Not all heroes wear capes.'
The footage shows the driver hunting down the spider and once he has located him, taking off his shoe.
He then uses it to smack the spider. It falls off the wall near Ms Sanchez' front door but the driver doesn't stop there, he then makes sure the job is done by hitting it again with his shoe.
He then calmly puts his shoe back on and goes back to his van to continue with his deliveries.
Ms Sanchez was so pleased with the driver's response that she searched for him so she could thank him for his actions in her TikTok video that has been viewed 12.9million times.
First she tried just leaving a note for driver for the next time she had a package delivered which read: 'Hello Amazon! Thank you for killing the spider yesterday!
And after a couple of days of digging around, Ms Sanchez finally posted a triumphant video of her and the delivery driver on a video call together
Ms Sanchez took some pictures of the gigantic spider for her viewers to see what she was dealing with
'You are actually TikTok famous now. The people of TikTok want to know: 1. Are you single? 2. What is your venmo?'
But in a disappointing twist, it wasn't the same delivery driver who came that day so she had to continue her search.
She spoke to Amazon customer service in a bid to find him and leave a good review for his services.
And after a couple of days of digging around, Ms Sanchez finally posted a triumphant video of her and the delivery driver on a video call together.
Although the video didn't have any sound so viewers aren't able to hear what the pair say to each other, Ms Sanchez was able to find out his Venmo details for any viewers looking to show their appreciation for his efforts.
