In a spooky clip recorded at 11.29am on May 14 - when the pair were at work - the camera showed an empty kitchen when one of the drawers slowly opened by itself. All of a sudden, a piece of cutlery apparently went flying out of the drawer and seemed to be forcibly thrown across the room.

It bounced off the window and landed with a clatter just underneath the drawer.

A couple of seconds later, a second object jumped out of the drawer and launched itself across the room into the opposite corner.

Then the door, which was ajar, slowly began to close of its own accord.

In the caption of the video they uploaded to TikTok, which has received more than 19.3 million views, they wrote: 'CCTV cameras coming in handy while we were at work...'

Other TikTok users shared their thoughts on the clip, with one person called Alinaa (sic) writing: 'I would never come back to that house.'

However, a few people shared their skepticism about the clip, with one writing: 'I have such a hard time believing what I don't witness with my own [eyes]. So many things can be edited these days.'

Ben and Lainey regularly upload footage of the paranormal activity in their house to social media and appear to have no intention of moving out.

Speaking on their YouTube channel, the couple say that they learned through a psychic medium that the spirit living in their house is called Dave.

According to the medium, Dave, who is a young male, died in a car accident not far from their house.
