Moment ITV reporter shouts ‘I’ll f***ing bang you out’ in astonishing rant at ‘idiot’ who got in shot

THIS is the shocking moment an ITV reporter shouts “I’m gonna f****** bang you out” as he rants at an “idiot” who interrupts his piece to camera.

Journalist Callum Watkinson launched into a foul-mouthed tirade after being distracted by a member of the public while filming.

A clip uploaded to Twitter shows Mr Watkinson delivering a report to camera on Broad Street in Birmingham city centre.

He then walks towards the man who he claims interrupted him, saying: “I’m not a higher class than you mate, I’ve got a job, have you got a job?”

To which the man replies “Yeah”.

Mr Watkinson then responds: “Well don’t f***ing do it and I won’t come into your workplace and start f***ing with you idiot.

“You get me behind me again, I’m gonna f****** bang you out.

“Why don’t you go and get a job and then I’ll come behind you and start being an idiot?”

He adds: “Where do you work? Footlocker? Or McDonald’s?”

Another voice in the background is then heard saying: “Nothing wrong with that”.

The journalist continues: “Mate, how about sorry for trying to mess up my work? How about that?

“"Do you know how hard it is to broadcast live to half a million people?”

“Do you know how hard it is to concentrate? It’s quite hard, without someone in the background going ‘Ooh I’m on TV!’”

The clip was shared by the I’mJustBrum Twitter page last night. ITV Central is the regional news for the Midlands. It broadcasts several bulletins from Birmingham every day.

An ITV spokesperson told The Sun Online: "ITV has spoken to the reporter and the matter is being dealt with internally.

"We apologise for any offence the comments have caused and will not be commenting further at this time."
