Sparks fly from underneath caravan as driver hauls it along motorway with a blown tyre for 20 MILES

    The owner of the two-wheeler classic caravan was filmed scraping the chassis along the M42 from junction 7, near Solihull, West Midlands, and onto the M40.

    Police spotted the unsafe vehicle after the driver exited the motorway at junction 15 and came to a stop beside Banbury Road, near Warwick, 20 miles from where it started. Operational Police Unit Warwickshire shared photographs of the damaged classic caravan after it was filmed making the dangerous journey by another motorist.

    The clip shows the caravan being dragged along after its back tyre had reportedly blown out.Upon checking the caravan police found that the suspension strut had worn in half.

    The police reported the driver to court for the offences regarding the 79/80 Royale Touranger caravan.

    OPU Warwickshire posted the shocking images on their Facebook page yesterday captioned: 'The owner of this caravan drove all the way down the M42 from junction seven with a tyre blow out and then continued onto the M40. It then got off at junction 15.
