AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen can’t stop beaming at first public appearance since horror burns accident
AJ Pritchard's girlfriend Abbie Quinnen looked amazing at her first public appearance since her horror burns accident.
The 23-year-old beauty, who was engulfed in fire after social media video went wrong earlier this year, enjoyed a date night at the London Palladium Theatre last night.
The dancer dressed up to the nines with her other-half AJ to watch the popular musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie.
Abbie rocked a cute pink patterned summer dress that showed off her tiny frame with a white tie around the waist.
The star accessorised the outfit with some red strappy heels and a nude handbag.
She completed the look with a natural make-up look consisting of blush, clear lip gloss and she styled her blonde locks into some loose waves.
Strictly star AJ also dressed to impress.
He looked dapper in a plain white shirt, grey trousers and some blue loafers.
The pair looked happy to be out and about as lockdown restrictions have started to lift and the UK can slowly return to normal.
Earlier this year, Abbie was left traumatised when a blazing wine bottle exploded in her face.
The couple, who recently celebrated their second anniversary, were filming a “life hack” video and were showing followers how to cut a glass bottle in half to be used as a vase.
Things went terribly wrong and set Abbie's her hair and clothing alight, which caused third-degree burns on her body.
The blonde beauty visited the hospital 20 times and has undergone three skin grafts since.
Opening up about the traumatic ordeal earlier this month, Abbie admitted that she she couldn’t help but lash out at her boyfriend.
She told The Sun: "I did everything to push him away from me. I felt so traumatised, I hit out at the person who loved me the most.
“He was by my side from the moment I came out of hospital, cooking for me, rubbing creams and moisturisers into my scars four times a day, and telling me I was beautiful, not letting me lift a finger.
"He was keeping so calm and upbeat for me, but I was an emotional mess and I wanted him to be as devastated as I was.”
She suffered flashbacks to the petrifying moment she thought she was going to die and couldn't bring herself to look in the mirror during her recovery.
Abbie added: "I didn’t even recognise myself.
"All I could see were burns all over my face. I didn’t know if they would heal, I just didn’t want to look at myself or let anyone else see me.
“It was during lockdown, but the doctors decided I needed to have one visit. AJ came in to see me, but I refused to allow him into the room.
"I couldn’t bear for him to see me. I also told him I wasn’t coming home; I was going to move back in to my mum’s.
"I just wanted to hide from the world – from everyone.”
Abbie and AJ's relationship has gone from strength to strength after they started dating in 2019.
They met after she was hired as a dancer for his Get On The Floor tour.
The beauty recently thanked her beau for a lovely birthday trip away.
She shared some adorable snaps with her 83.5k followers and said: "Best birthday trip ever 🥳🥰❤️ thank you @aj11ace for making it so special ❤️."
