Mother is left with a 'deformed' right breast after her tissue DECAYED following a 'botched £10,000 mummy makeover' surgery in Mexico that she claims has 'ruined her life'

Samantha, 28, from Birmingham, claimed she was left 'deformed' and had to have 'life-saving' operation after surgery which left her breast tissue hanging out and her implant exposed, causing a severe infection.
The mother travelled to Mexico in March for the procedure, which consisted of a tummy tuck, liposuction and a boob lift and implants, as he was desperate to get her body back after having children.
But Samantha claimed she had to have 'life-saving surgery' when she returned to the UK, which resulted in her losing her right breast after necrosis had formed, which caused severe infection in her breast tissue.
The devastated mother said the traumatic procedure 'ruined her life' and she 'regrets' having it done because she now has panic attacks, cannot look herself in the mirror anymore and has cried herself to sleep every night since.

Samantha explained: 'After giving birth to my babies and undergoing C-sections, I hated my body.
'I had been left with the "mum pouch" and it was one of my biggest insecurities.
'I always knew I wanted to get my body done after I had finished having kids, so I had been saving for years.'I never felt sexy and I knew the only way to achieve the body I wanted would be through surgery.
'So after giving birth to my daughter, who is now 10-months-old, I started researching surgeons.
'I spent around five months researching until I found the surgeon I decided I wanted. I had spoken to girls who had been to him and their reviews were all positive, so I went ahead and booked it.

'I connected with my "surgery sister" online as she was going to the same surgeon, so we decided to go together and we wanted to go sooner rather than later so we booked it for early March.'
Samantha travelled to Mexico and underwent her consultation, which she said went amazingly and only made her more excited for her surgery.
But after her almost nine-hour surgery, Samantha admitted that she felt like she was 'going to die' as she was so poorly that she couldn't 'walk or eat'.
She called the doctor and was readmitted to the hospital, where she claimed her nipple began 'to go black' but she was told it was just an 'accumulation of blood' despite her fears that it was necrosis, which is the death of body tissue.
Samantha continued: 'On March 13 I had my surgery. It took almost eight and a half hours instead of seven hours due to some complications.
'At one day post-op, I was discharged from the hospital and went to the recovery house.
'Within two days of the operation I started feeling so poorly I felt like I was going to die. I couldn't walk or eat and my face and body was grey.
'I called the doctor to tell him how I was feeling and I was readmitted back into the hospital.
'I then started to notice that the surrounding area of my nipple was starting to go black, but I was told everything was fine and it was just an accumulation of blood.
'I worried that it may have been necrosis but the doctor assured me it wasn't.

'I went back to the recovery house, however, I was suffering from hot flushes and heart palpitations. I was also documenting my recovery on my social media, and when I posted a picture of part of my nipple I got a flood of messages saying it was necrosis.'
Samantha said her nipple then turned black and hard, and it had also spread to other areas on her breast, causing her to panic and begin hysterically crying uncontrollably.
She contacted the doctor for a second time and was invited to his office, where she claimed he said that he needed to 'cut away the dead tissue' for the breast to heal.
Samantha alleged that the doctor gave her local anaesthetic and began 'cutting away' at her breast in his office, before she returned the next day when he 'butchered away more of the black stuff'.
She explained: 'I contacted the doctor again and explained the situation. So he told me to go back to his office.
'I was terrified. This was on Sunday and we were due to fly home on Wednesday, I had no idea if I would even be able to.
'He told me the best bet was for him to cut away the dead tissue and that if he did this I would heal. I was so eager to believe him and sort this issue.
'But he literally started cutting away at me in his office after giving me some local anaesthetic.

'After he had finished he told me to come back the next day so he could check how things were. I went back and he started butchering away more black stuff on my boobs.
'And on Wednesday he issued me with my "fit to fly letter" for our flight later that evening.'
Samantha made it home from Mexico but quickly noticed that her scars looked strange on her right breast, but the doctor insisted that it 'looked normal' when she sent photographs.
After calling 111, she went to hospital where she claimed surgeons told her they had 'never seen anything like it before' and she was prepared for surgery, as doctors suspected she had an infection in her breasts.
Samantha claimed she was told the 'surgery was a matter of life or death' and she added that she was shocked after being told in Mexico that she would 'be fine'.
She explained: 'My left nipple was still together, but the right side looked like it was open. I sent a picture to my doctor in Mexico and he said it looked normal.
'However, the following day my partner was getting me showered and dressed, we took some of the gauzes to find that my breast was literally hanging out of me.
'The was pink flesh actually hanging from my chest and my implant was completely exposed. I panicked and called 111, who advised me to head straight to the hospital.
'I was taken to the plastics department where three surgeons told me they had never seen anything like this before.
'After some blood tests, the next thing I knew I was being prepped for surgery. They told me they suspected I had an infection in my breasts.

'They said the surgery was a matter of life or death and they needed to do it to save my life.
'Everything had gone from bad to worse. I couldn't believe my surgeon in Mexico had told me I would be fine and now I was being told I needed surgery to save my life.'
The aim of the surgery was to remove Samantha's right nipple, the implant and some of the infected breast tissue.
After waking up, Samantha had lost her implant and most of her breast tissue and said the makeover surgery in Mexico has left her 'botched and deformed'.
The devastated mother admitted that the traumatic ordeal has 'broken' her and said she cannot look at herself in the mirror and has cried herself to sleep 'every single night'.
She added that she 'regrets' the mummy makeover surgery and now wishes that she had saved for longer and had the surgery in the UK, rather than travelling abroad.
She said: 'The doctors had managed to salvage a tiny bit of my nipple that they used to close everything up. I'm botched and deformed.
'It has been just over a week since losing my breast and it is all just starting to hit me. How can I hide that I just have one boob?
'I can't even hold my baby girl and I have panic attacks as keep thinking I am going to die.
'I can't do anything for myself, my partner has to wash and dress me. I am incapable as a mother. I regret this whole thing more than anything. I paid all this money to ruin my life.
'It has broken me. I still can't look at myself in the mirror because I can't bear what I have done to myself. I have cried myself to sleep every night since.'

Although the ordeal has been traumatic for Samantha, she also said that she is thankful to be alive, crediting the NHS for 'saving' her life.
She added: 'Although this has been horrendous, I am just so happy that I am still here and I owe that to the NHS for saving my life.
'I am so grateful for everything they have done and are doing for me.
'I hope my story can make others aware of the complications that can come with cosmetic surgery, and the actual repercussions of getting necrosis as this wasn't something I knew about.
'From my experience, I would warn others about getting surgery abroad as other countries have very different medical standards.
'Although it would have cost me more money, I wish I had just saved for longer and had my surgery done in this country.'
Samantha has already started saving for and researching her next surgery that she hopes will fix her boobs and make her body symmetrical again.
