Car theft suspect reverses stolen Range Rover over top of pursuing VW Golf 'while being chased by furious owners'

A car thief reversed a stolen Range Rover over a Volkswagen Golf while trying to get away from the owners, it has been alleged
It is believed that both cars are owned by the same couple, and they chased the car thief in their Golf.
In an attempt to escape, the culprit reversed the Range Rover over the other car, causing damage to the front.
Footage shows the Golf parked in the middle of the road with the Range Rover piled on top with the door hanging open.
A video of the aftermath of the crash was posted on TikTok, which took place in Brigadier Hill, Enfield, on April 8 As reported by The Sun, a neighbourhood watch statement said the car was stolen while it was being cleaned outside and it's tracking system was activated to this location.
After the suspect reversed on to the vehicle, it is alleged he fled and ran towards Hilly Fields.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: 'Police were called at approximately 17:58hrs on Thursday, 8 April to reports of a collision involving two vehicles in Brigadier Hill, Enfield.
'Officers attended and it was reported that the vehicle had been stolen from outside a property in Bramley Road a short time earlier. No injuries were reported.
'An 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and being in possession of a Class B drug.
'He was subsequently released under investigation. Enquiries are ongoing.'
