Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers shared a picture of the thick hedge to Facebook on Sunday after being called out to a suburban home in Queensland to retrieve a carpet python.
'With the constant changes in the weather, we have had a pretty busy week with snakes on the move or curling up in the rain, just like the snake in this photo,' the catcher said.

The thick shrubbery provided the perfect camouflage for the seemingly invisible serpent.
Snake catcher Stuart revealed the snake's hiding spot was to the left of the bush, curled up around the branches deep within the hedge.
While a few eagle-eyed users spotted the serpent many were left scratching their heads - some even claimed the image was a hoax and did not feature a snake at all.

'I'll need to go to Specsavers. I can't see anything,' another commented.
'Is this a late April's Fools and we are all looking but there is nothing there,' another joked.
