Onlookers rush forward to help the musicians but fortunately no one was injured, although the branch, which appears to be from a eucalyptus tree, is shown afterwards lying just inches from the drum kit.Don Purnell, who witnessed the dramatic scenes told CBS: 'Everybody’s OK.'

He said one of the band members addressed the shocked crowd afterwards and said: 'Thank you, tree, for not falling on anybody.' Footage of the incident was shot from several locations. In one snippet, a member of the crowd calls out 'Careful' and there is a loud cracking sound as the branch collapses.

In another, a woman is seen dancing just a few feet from the branch as it falls.
